Copycat Taco Bell Mexican Pizza

Instructions:

Prepare the meat filling:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.

Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened. Set aside.

Prepare tortillas:

In a large pan, lightly fry each tortilla in oil until golden and slightly crispy on both sides. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the pizzas:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

On a baking tray or in a baking dish, place one tortilla.

Spread a layer of refried beans, then a layer of the seasoned beef.

Top with another tortilla.

Spread enchilada sauce over the top, sprinkle with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, white onions, and green onions.

Bake:

Bake in preheated oven for 8–10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:

Cut into quarters and serve hot with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole on the side!
