8 oz elbow macaroni
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
1 cup heavy cream
4 cups chicken broth
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
