🧈 Cornbread Base:
Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
Whisk wet ingredients in another bowl, then combine with dry.
Pour into a greased round baking dish or foil pan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and firm.
Let cool slightly, then press down the center gently to create a shallow bowl shape.
