Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Fish Ceviche

Dice the fish into small cubes and place in a bowl.

Pour fresh lime juice over the fish and mix well. Cover and let it marinate (cook) in the lime juice for 30-45 minutes until the fish turns white and opaque.

Stir in cooked shrimp, onions, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapeño, and cilantro.

Season with salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Maggi seasoning. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes for flavors to blend.

Step 2: Prepare the Durito Bowl

If using pre-made duritos, heat them slightly so they stay crisp.

If frying at home, heat oil in a pan and fry the chicharrón de harina until it puffs up. Drain excess oil on paper towels.

Step 3: Assemble & Serve

Place the crispy durito bowl on a plate.

Fill with ceviche mixture.

Garnish with avocado slices, crumbled queso fresco (if using), and extra lime wedges.

Drizzle hot sauce for an extra kick!

Tips for the Best Flavor!

Let the ceviche marinate for at least an hour for deeper flavors.
Use the freshest lime juice possible—bottled lime juice won’t give the same authentic taste.
Balance the heat—add more or less jalapeño depending on your spice preference.
Make it a meal! Serve with tostadas or saltine crackers for extra texture.

This Durito con Ceviche de Pescado y Camarón is the perfect mix of crispy, fresh, and zesty flavors! 😍 Would you try this? 🤤🔥
