Mexican Green Chile Ground Beef Macaroni Sopita

Ingredients:

For the Sopita:

1 lb ground beef (or your preferred protein, such as chicken or pork)

1 cup elbow macaroni (or any small pasta)

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

1-2 cups of green chiles, diced (canned or roasted)

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (optional for added flavor)

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp chili powder (adjust to spice preference)
