6 fresh corn cobs (kernels removed, about 4 cups)
1 ¼ cups masa harina (corn flour)
1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup sugar (adjust for sweetness)

1 cup whole milk (or evaporated milk for a richer flavor)
