1 cinnamon stick
3-4 cloves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp black peppercorns
4 garlic cloves
½ medium onion
1 bay leaf
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp marjoram
1 cup white vinegar
Salt to taste
For Cooking:
6 cups water or beef broth
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Fresh cilantro and chopped onions (for garnish)
