Directions:

Marinate the Steak:

In a large bowl, combine lime juice, orange juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and chopped cilantro.

Add the flank or skirt steak, ensuring it’s well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

Cook the Carne Asada:

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.

Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.

Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.

Assemble the Burritos:

Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface.

Spread a layer of refried beans, followed by a scoop of Mexican rice.

Add a generous amount of the sliced carne asada and top with shredded cheese.

If desired, add guacamole and salsa.

Wrap the Burrito:

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up from the bottom to create a burrito shape.

Optionally, you can toast the burrito in a skillet for a crispy exterior.

Serve:

Cut the burrito in half and serve with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and extra guacamole or salsa on the side.

Enjoy your flavorful and hearty Carne Asada Burritos! 🌮✨
