1 1/2 cups long grain white rice (uncooked)
1/4 small white onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup tomato sauce (or 2 small tomatoes blended)
2 1/2 cups chicken broth (or water + bouillon)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
Optional: 1/4 tsp chili powder or 1 bouillon cube for extra flavor
