Ingredients:

🥩 Chuck Roast Filling

3 lbs chuck roast

1 large onion, sliced

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp cumin

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp oregano

1 bay leaf

Salt & pepper to taste

1 cup beef broth

Juice of 1 lime (optional)

2 tbsp oil

For Homemade Flour Tortillas:

3 cups flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

â…“ cup lard or vegetable shortening

1 cup warm water

Mexican Rice:

1 cup long grain rice

1 ¾ cup chicken broth

½ onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp tomato sauce (or 1 small tomato, blended)

1 garlic clove, minced

2 tbsp oil

Salt to taste

For Refried Beans:

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked pinto beans (or canned)

¼ cup bean broth or water

2 tbsp lard or oil

Salt, to taste

Optional: shredded cheese, jalapeños
