🔥 Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the Caramel

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar and water until it turns a golden amber color.

Quickly pour the caramel into a flan mold or baking dish, swirling it around to coat the bottom.

2️⃣ Blend the Flan Mixture

In a blender, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and cream cheese (if using).

Blend until smooth and creamy.

3️⃣ Bake the Flan (Baño María Method)

Pour the flan mixture over the caramel in the mold.

Place the mold inside a larger baking dish filled with about 1 inch of hot water (water bath).

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

4️⃣ Chill & Serve

Let the flan cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).

Run a knife around the edges and carefully invert onto a plate so the caramel drizzles over the flan.

💡 Pro Tip:
For extra flavor, add a dash of cinnamon or orange zest to the flan mix!
