For the Frijoles (Refried Beans)
2 cups cooked pinto beans (or 1 can of refried beans)
1/4 cup cooking oil or lard
1/2 diced white onion
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt to taste
For the Tortillas de Harina (Flour Tortillas)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup lard or vegetable shortening
1 cup warm water
