Directions:
Mix all your dry ingredients well. Add water and mix well kneading until you form a ball. Make 12 little balls. Take a tortilla press and lightly press each ball and set aside.
Add enough oil to a pot and heat on med high. Add each Gordita to the oil overlapping the oil until it puffs up about 40 seconds per side… remove from oil and place on paper towels and repeat until finished.
Cut the top open and fill with your favorite fillings. I did beans and queso fresco and garnished with cabbage, cilantro, tomatoes, red onion, queso and salsa…
