Grama past 3 years ago this month so I thought this would be a good time to share her recipe since my best memories are helping her in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/h2>\n

1 cup all purpose flour
\n1 stick of butter soften
\n1 pinch of salt
\n1 tsp of sugar
\n1 tsp of baking powder<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/h2>\n

Mix all ingredient until dough forms.<\/p>\n

Let sit for at least half hour.<\/p>\n

After it has sat form the balls. They do not have to be perfectly round. The less you mess with the dough the better they cook. \ufffc<\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 350
\nCook for 30 min or until the bottom are golden brown. I would check them after 20 min since ovens vary.<\/p>\n

Once out the oven roll in the sugar and cinnamon mix or in powder sugar.
\nI say about a cup of sugar and 2 Tbs of cinnamon. But you can always add more cinnamon or less up to your taste.<\/p>\n

Let cool and enjoy!<\/p>\n

*this makes 12 or so polvorones depending how big you make them and how long you let the dough rise. Can always double recipe for more.<\/p>\n
