Surf & Turf Heaven with Creamy Bacon Potatoes and Garlic Asparagus

Instructions:

Mix the herb butter and chill in the fridge.

Season steaks generously with salt, pepper & garlic powder.

Heat oil in a cast iron skillet until smoking. Sear steaks 3-4 min per side.

Add butter, garlic & thyme; spoon butter over steaks for 1-2 min.

Rest steak 5 minutes before serving with a dollop of herb butter.

🦞 Garlic Butter Lobster Tail & Shrimp:

Ingredients:

2 lobster tails

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

4 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp parsley

Cajun seasoning

Instructions:

Cut lobster shells and pull meat slightly out to sit on top.

Season both lobster and shrimp with Cajun seasoning.

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic.

Add shrimp and lobster meat, cook until opaque (shrimp 2–3 min, lobster 5–7 min).

Finish with lemon juice and sprinkle parsley on top.

🌿 Garlic Parmesan Asparagus:

Ingredients:

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt & pepper

Grated Parmesan

Instructions:

Heat oil & butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add garlic and asparagus, season with salt & pepper.

Sauté for 5-7 min until tender. Top with Parmesan before serving.

🧀 Creamy Bacon Potatoes (Scalloped Style):

Ingredients:

3 large potatoes, thinly sliced

3 strips bacon, cooked & chopped

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

1 cup milk

1 cup heavy cream

1½ cups shredded cheddar

Salt, pepper, paprika

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Make a roux with butter & flour. Slowly whisk in milk & cream.

Add cheese, season, and stir until smooth.

Layer potatoes in a dish, pouring sauce and bacon over each layer.

Bake for 45–50 min until bubbly and golden.

🍽 Serve It Up Like a Boss:

Plate the steak with a fat scoop of herb butter melting on top.

Stack the grilled asparagus neatly.

Fan out those juicy shrimp and lobster next to it.

Scoop on those creamy bacon potatoes with a little extra cheese melt over top.
