Ingredients:
2 lbs beef (chuck or brisket), cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 cups nopales (cactus paddles), cleaned and chopped
1-2 jalapeños or green chiles, chopped (adjust to taste)
4 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
